Need some other type of help?
Not everyone we help needs assistance with rent or utilities. We have been blessed to help many people find the help they need outside of ROH. We have compiled that information into an online resource guide accessible by clicking the link below.
About Us
In 2006 the Brazosport Ministerial Alliance brought local Christian congregations together to address homelessness and to promote self-sufficiency within the Brazosport community.
John and I came in. We really did not know what to expect being we had never gone through “this” before. What we encountered was the most kind, pleasant, caring person…. Asking for help was difficult. You encouraged us and made the experience a positive one. You went the extra mile. Thank you.
Thank you for the aid River of Hope gave to the Freeport Coast Guard service members. I can think of no greater good than to support our men and women serving our country than in their hour of need. So very grateful to live in such an awesome community.
I really enjoy working with the other volunteers. I can’t imagine being evicted from my home. If the time and money I give can keep that from happening, then it is worth it.
